A Booklist for Mi’kmaw History Month

A Booklist for Mi'kmaw History Month

October is Mi’kmaw History Month, and this year’s theme is A’tukwemk aq A’tukowinu’k—Storytelling and Storytellers.
This theme celebrates the power of stories in Mi’kma’ki and recognizes how storytelling is a living record of Mi’kmaw science, history, values and more.

University Librarian Tracy Lenfesty has put together a list of recommended reads to help you learn and celebrate this Mi’kmaw History Month.
