A Night Out With King’s

A Night Out With King's

Nearly 300 prospective students, parents and alumni attended ‘A Night Out With King’s’  in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Toronto, with Dr Simon Kow’s ‘Pirates of the Humanities’ lecture proving very popular.

“I took Dr Kow’s Early Modern Stories in Film Class when I was a student,’ says Kate MacKeigan (BA ’09), who attended the Ottawa event, ‘so I was already a fan. As expected, Dr Kow was funny, approachable, and informative and the prospective and accepted students in attendance asked some great questions.”

“As a King’s alumnus, I try never to miss an opportunity to meet prospective students before they begin their university careers,” says Brendan Sangster (BA ’12). “I loved seeing King’s friends in Vancouver. I only wish they’d brought the Wardroom with them, too!”

A big thank you goes out to alumni who attended the events and took the time to chat with students and parents about life at King’s.

If you were not able to get to one of the venues, you can watch Dr Kow’s ‘Pirates of the Humanities’ lecture here.
