Men's soccer adds MacKinnon to the fold

Gareth MacKinnon is the latest Nova Scotian in a recruiting class filled with local players for King’s men’s soccer. A native to Cape Breton, MacKinnon has spent the last four seasons with the Riverview High School Ravens, serving two seasons as captain and earning four consecutive Highland Region title banners.

“Gareth has stand out grit, intensity, and winning attitude,” says King’s Head Coach Jamie McGinnis. “He’s a real quality individual with loads of potential.” A self-described team player with energy, speed and determination, MacKinnon cannot wait to get to camp and contribute to King’s 2021-22 championship aspirations. MacKinnon intends to pursue a Bachelor of Science in the fall.
