Model Bodies exhibition

Model Bodies exhibition

Model Bodies is an exhibition of biomedical artifacts that runs from 13 March  to 7 April  2013 in the Sir Charles Tupper Building Foyer.

This exhibition features compelling historical anatomical models, medical artifacts, scientific instruments, and recent biomedical images from Dalhousie’s laboratories. Artifacts have been drawn from Dalhousie’s medical teaching and learning centres, private medical collections, and the Medical History Society of Nova Scotia.

Situating Science postdoctoral fellow Dr Cindy Stelmackowich curated this exhibition, which coincides with the 20 March, 5.00 PM panel discussion, “Bodies Laid Bare in Law, Culture and Anatomy”.
