President Anne Leavitt resigns

The University of King’s College board of governors announced on June 27 that it has accepted the resignation of president Dr Anne Leavitt. Dr Leavitt announced her resignation on June 21.

Board of governors chair, Dr John Hamm says, "We are sorry to announce Dr Leavitt’s resignation, but respect her decision. The board has taken immediate steps to select and appoint an interim president."

Dr Leavitt was the 23rd president and vice chancellor of the University of King’s College. She assumed office on August 1, 2011.
