Search for the College’s 26th President and Vice-Chancellor

The University of King’s College Board of Governors has established a Presidential Search Committee to find a replacement for outgoing President Bill Lahey, whose term expires in July 2026. The Board of Governors has formed a Presidential Selection Committee (PSC), which will guide the recruitment and onboarding process.

The members of the committee are:

  • Stephanie McGrath, Chair of the Board of Governors
  • Bruce Fisher, Board Treasurer
  • Kathryn R. Burton, Member of the Board of Governors
  • Nevin French, Alumni Representative
  • Lisa Taylor, Faculty Representative
  • Simon Kow, Faculty Representative
  • Yolana Wassersug, Staff Representative
  • Ellie Anderson, President of the King’s Students’ Union

Stephanie McGrath will provide updates to the campus community in coming months as the process evolves. There will be an opportunity for the campus community to meet final candidates and provide their feedback to the PSC. In the meantime, all discussions within the PSC are confidential to ensure safe space for candidates to engage in the process without fear of jeopardizing current roles.
