Women's Rugby add Myra Henry of New Brunswick

Women’s Rugby have completed the signing of Myra Henry of Oromocto, N.B. A dual-sport athlete for Oromocto High School, Henry helped the Blues field hockey program to an undefeated season and provincial banner in her grade 12 year while being recognized as Rookie of the Year in her first season of rugby. Henry plays at either wing or centre and is active in the club rugby community as well, training with the local Fredericton Loyalists club side and in the New Brunswick Spruce provincial program.

“I chose King’s because of the opportunity to play varsity university rugby, which has always been a dream of mine,” says Henry. “I’m looking forward to living on my own in a new city by the ocean and being on the team that is going to take first place over my hometown UNB team!”

While playing rugby for King’s, Henry plans to study in the Bachelor of Science program, starting with the Foundation Year Program.
