Women's Volleyball sign Bagnell at libero

Annika Bagnell has become the first member of the UKC women’s Volleyball 2022-23 recruiting class, signing on to join the Blue Devils ahead of the 23-24 ACAA season.

A native of Rothesay, N.B., Bagnell presently plays as a libero for Rothesay High School in the NBIAA, as well as club volleyball with the Saint John Timberwolves, with whom she is a four-time MVP.

The energy and warmth of the volleyball team was a major factor in Bagnell’s decision to choose King’s. “After practicing with the team it definitely finalized my decision on attending King’s. Everyone was so positive and kind and made me feel a part of their team. I love the idea of a smaller school in a big city.”

Bagnell intends to study in the King’s Foundation Year Program with the intent to study Law. “I am excited about continuing to play volleyball, as well as making new friends from all over. My entire family lives in Halifax so being close to them is also a huge bonus!”
