Rafael Fecury Braga Rafael Fecury Braga

BSc. (Vind.) (in progress)

My name is Rafael (he/him) and I am an upper-year student majoring in both Psychology and Contemporary Studies at Dalhousie and King’s. I am very involved in the communities of both campi, having hold positions at the King’s Student Union (KSU), the Dalhousie Medical Campus Response Team (DMCRT), the Sexual Health and Gender Lab (SHaG), and the NeuroCognitive Imaging Lab (NCIL). My current research analyzes neurophysiological and behavioural measures regarding the perception of artificially-generated images and its implications to the political domain.

You can often find me lounging in the Galley area, working out at Dalplex, or studying at the King’s library. I am excited to be able to support students in the coming year and I am always happy to help decipher a FYP text or navigate campus resources.

Dons are either upper-year King’s students or young professionals who live within a residence floor or bay and provide support to residents in their community.

They can help with:

  • Peer support & mentorship
  • Community building & programming
  • Conflict resolution between community members
  • Providing referrals to campus supports

Dons are the first line of support for individuals living in residence. There is a Don on Call available for urgent/immediate support each evening, weekend and holiday.

The Don on Call (4 p.m.–8 a.m., Mon–Fri & 24/7 on weekends and holidays) can assist with:

  • After hours incident response
  • After hours emergency response
  • After hours mental health crisis response
