Sonny is the Don of Radical Bay, and is passionate about instilling a sense of safety and belonging at King’s. Sonny’s door is (figuratively) open to all folks living in residence!
Sonny completed his BSc in Honours Biochemistry, with a specialization in Biomedical Research and a minor in Mathematics at McMaster University. As a student, Sonny was heavily involved in Residence Life as a volunteer and as a Junior Don.
Beyond King’s, Sonny works at AGADA Biosciences where he researches Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. During his free time, Sonny likes to take classes at the House of Eights Dance Studio and volunteers as a Sunday School teacher at the Halifax Korean Church.
