In his first season with the program, Assistant Coach Vince Williams brings a versatile background in coaching, athletics, education, and broadcasting. He currently serves as the Head Coach of the Woodlawn Panthers Boys Varsity Basketball Team, where he has played a key role in developing young talent and fostering a strong team culture.
A multi-sport athlete, Williams played both football and basketball at the CEGEP level in Quebec, giving him a well-rounded perspective on high-performance sport. In addition to his coaching roles, he is an experienced play-by-play commentator, covering AUS basketball and football for various university programs across the region.
Beyond the court, Williams works as an African Student Support Worker with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education, where he is dedicated to student advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement. He is also a certified U Sports football official, bringing a unique understanding of the game from multiple angles.
With a deep commitment to athlete development, education, and community leadership, Vince Williams is a valuable addition to the King’s Men’s Basketball coaching staff.
