Trust in Science Lecture Series

Our world invests a great deal of trust in science and its institutions to speak the truth about ourselves, the world we live in, and our place in it—whether it’s about the foods we eat, our health, the technologies we use, or our general sense of well-being. But why do we trust science? What and whom are we actually trusting? Do we need or even want to know?

With a five-part lecture series, presented by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Public Affairs and King’s during the 2006/2007 academic year, Trust in Science took a broad and critical look at these questions.
