King’s offers non-credit programming for community members interested in honing their skills in journalism, writing and the humanities.
These internships offer current King’s students and partnering organizations and businesses the opportunity to work together during summer placements. Students apply to receive targeted workplace experience offered between their first and final years. Partner organizations and businesses gain an unparalleled opportunity to work with students to mutually discover what a humanities perspective can bring to a workplace.
This 12-part, non-credit education program is for adult learners who would like to explore influential writers, artists, scientists and thinkers whose works and ideas still resonate. You will have access to lectures and discussions led by members of King’s faculty. FYPals is modelled on King’s transformational Foundation Year Program (FYP) and gives you the opportunity to read along with FYP’s epic journey—from ancient civilizations to contemporary philosophy.

HYP is a residential summer program for bright and highly-motivated students from ages 15 to 17 that takes place each July at the University of King’s College. Secondary school students from across the country have the unique opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with scholars from a variety of disciplines.
