The Signal, the School of Journalism’s digital news outlet, has been honoured with two Canadian Online Publishing Award (COPA) nominations. It received nominations for Best Editorial Packaging and Best Academic Project.
Material for The Signal is reported and edited from September to April by students in digital reporting workshops at King’s. It focuses primarily on news affecting people the Halifax area.
The Signal is nominated in a division encompassing trade media, associations and schools. The award winners will be announced on November 7.
