During the summer residency, you will attend lectures, panels and seminars in the art and craft of fiction writing and also do public readings from your work. Students will meet daily in small groups with their Fiction Mentorship III mentors to discuss craft (voice, plot, characters, etc.) and ethical issues and finalize plans for their writing projects. In the fall, you will complete a variety of writing assignments for Fiction Writing Craft II, including book reports and research papers.
