Curious or have questions about law school? Join us for a conversation with the Interim Dean of University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law and learn about exclusive opportunities for King’s students.

Join us on October 31 from 3 p.m.–5 p.m. as President Bill Lahey hosts the University of Calgary’s Interim Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Evaristus (Evar) Oshionebo, as well as the Associate Dean of Calgary Law, Dr. Catherine Valestuk, at an information session on law school, University of Calgary’s law program and the unique partnership between our two universities. It is a not-to-be-missed session for students curious about or considering law school after King’s, whether at Calgary or any other law school.

This year, Dean Oshionebo and Dr. Valestuk will be joining us in-person. We will gather in the Boardroom on the second floor of the Arts & Administration Building where we can enjoy some pizza together before and during the session.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by sending an email to president.office@ukings.ca with any dietary restrictions by Monday, October 28. The first 30 students to RSVP will be invited to attend.

King’s partnership with the Faculty of Law of the University of Calgary

For King’s graduates, law school is a frequent choice—and Calgary’s Faculty of Law has particular benefits for them.

Students who have completed the Foundation Year Program are provisionally pre-admitted to UCalgary’s Faculty of Law. Moreover, graduates who have completed FYP and who are entering their first year of Calgary’s JD Program will be automatically considered for the F. Murray Fraser QC Scholarship, valued at up to $12,000.
