5–5:45 p.m. | Bus Stop Theatre, 2203 Gottingen Street, Halifax: In collaboration with Afterwords, join us for a casual, open-to-the-public workshop and open house for those curious about the MFA programs in Fiction and Creative Nonfiction. Author Peter Counter will lead a writing workshop on infusing creative nonfiction with popular culture, and all are welcome to participate.

5:45–6:30 p.m. | After the workshop, enjoy a reception hosted by King’s Writing and Publishing Program, and find out more. You’ll meet faculty, students and alumni, see the books published by King’s students, get your questions answered and learn about the process of applying.
