On Thursday, October 12 from 5–6:30 p.m. (ADT), King’s will host the Dean of the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law and friend of the College Ian Holloway for a virtual information session on UCalgary’s law program and the unique partnership between our two universities. It is a must-see session for students curious about or considering entering law school.

We will meet in the Boardroom in the Arts & Administration Building and there will be a light buffet available before and during the session.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by sending an email to president.office@ukings.ca with any dietary restrictions by Tuesday, October 10.

The first 30 students to RSVP will be invited to attend.

King’s partnership with the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law

For King’s graduates, law school is a frequent choice—and UCalgary’s Faculty of Law has particular benefits waiting there for them.

Students who have completed the Foundation Year Program are provisionally pre-admitted to UCalgary’s Faculty of Law. Moreover, King’s and Dalhousie graduates who have completed FYP and who are entering their first year of the JD Program will be automatically considered for the F. Murray Fraser QC Scholarship, valued at up to $12,000.
