Erika Cox signs to join Women's Soccer back line

King’s Women’s Soccer have completed the signing of local talent, Erika Cox, marking the first signing of the 2024 calendar year. Cox, a Halifax native, will join the Blue Devils from Halifax West High School Warriors, where she is team captain following consecutive Nova Scotia Provincial Championships in 2022 and 2023. Cox will also join fellow former Warriors Georgia Gavas and Victoria Iatrou, who will be entering their second and fifth seasons respectively. Utilized as a fullback or wingback, Cox presently plays club soccer through Dunbrack Soccer Club and is a member of the U-17 AAA roster competing in the Nova Scotia Soccer League.

A gifted athlete off the soccer pitch, Erika has played tier one volleyball for the past three seasons, while accruing multiple canoeing medals, and representing Halifax West on the rugby field and the softball diamond. While selecting soccer as her primary sport for post-secondary, Erika has also elected to pursue a degree the Bachelor of Science program.
