Jardine stays local, joins King's Volleyball

King’s Women’s Volleyball have completed the signing of Outside Hitter, Amelia Jardine of Spryfield, N.S.  Jardine presently attends for J.L. Ilsley High School, where she serves as a team Co-Captain, and competes outside of school with Sonic’s Volleyball Club. A regular in the provincial circuit, Amelia has represented Nova Scotia consistently across her career, and is currently training in the Nova Scotia Provincial Excellence Program.

Head coach Raeesa Lalani is “excited to see the talent and leadership that Amelia will bring to the team, including a strong swing on the outside.” The first Nova Scotian to sign for Women’s Volleyball this year, Jardine joins Claire Davis of Prince Edward Island and Ella Walsh of Newfoundland as new additions to the UKC Volleyball program.
