King's Basketball Adds PF Ethan Brownsey

Campus closed for holidays: The King's campus is closed from end of day December 20 to January 2.

Luc Stevenson has finalized his first signing of the New Year, landing BC native Ethan Brownsey for the 2021-22 season. Brownsey, a 6’6 power forward, comes to King’s by way St. Michaels University School in Victoria and is eager to join the rebuild head coach Luc Stevenson is directing in Halifax. Brownsey averaged 14 points and 8.5 boards per game in his last season with the SMUS Blue Jags, and has played extensively for the Vikes Nation club program run through the University of Victoria.

“Ethan has a great work ethic and skills both on the court and in the classroom. Anytime you can combine an approach like Ethan’s to academics and athletics, it’s sure to be a win-win for every program.” says Stevenson. “We are very excited about Ethan joining the Blue Devils family.” Ethan plans on studying Political Science and Law, and will be joining the 2021-22 FYP Program in the fall.
