King's Women's Soccer sign MacDonald to Midfield

King’s Women’s Soccer have finalized their first acquisition of the new season, signing Hannah MacDonald of Dartmouth, N.S.

A 5’7 center midfielder, MacDonald plays soccer with Dartmouth United Football Club, where she is a member of the UDFC U-18 girls program. Representing Woodlawn High School at the scholastic level, MacDonald was previously named Rookie of the Year for the Panthers girls soccer program.

“I chose King’s because it provides me with an opportunity to pursue a degree in a great science program, while also getting to play soccer at the college level,” says MacDonald. “I’m particularly excited to become a student athlete and to take the next step in both my academic and soccer journey. I can’t wait for all the new experiences I will receive while playing on the soccer team and furthering my education in a great science program.”

Hannah will join a flourishing Blue Devils team which, under the guidance of head coach Gary Carter, finished as silver medalists at the 2023/24 ACAA Tournament and a trip to the CCAA National Championship; the programs best season in over a decade. While representing King’s on the field, Hannah will pursue studies in the Bachelor of Sciences program.
