King’s Men’s Basketball have finalized the signing of point guard Noah Lopez of Milton, Ontario. A 180 cm (5’11) distributor, Lopez is a product of New Horizons Basketball Academy and will add key depth to the Blue Devils’ backcourt.
“Noah brings shooting and ball handling as a first year guard from Ontario where he competed against top competition provincially” says Head Coach, Luc Stevenson. “A true PG, Noah will be trusted to control the pace of play and get everyone involved. His work ethic and combination of athletics and academics will be a huge addition to our program.”
Lopez cites his visit to the Halifax campus playing a major role in his choosing King’s. “The visit to the university was a great experience…getting the tour around the campus and learning more about the history of the school was amazing.”
“Meeting and getting a run in with the team was great. Talking to coach Luc and understanding what he is trying to build here was pretty exciting. I’m looking forward to playing for coach Luc and the staff and excited to continue my post secondary education at King’s.”
