On May 31, Mary Barker (BA ’67, HF ’97) was presented with the 2017 Philip A. Novikoff Memorial Award by the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) at a national conference in Kelowna BC. Mary was recognized for her superior and outstanding service over time as a public relations professional. She received a certificate, a cash award and was celebrated by her peers with a standing ovation.
“It’s nice to be told you are the most prestigious in your field,” says Barker. “Celebrating my 50th at King’s and then the Novikoff has made the last couple weeks heady, indeed. I wonder that my feet have been touching the ground.” Read more.
