Men's Soccer fortify backline with new signing, Jonah Sisco

King’s men’s soccer has completed the signing of center back Jonah Sisco of Saint John, N.B.

A regular in the New Brunswick soccer circuit, Sisco represents Saint John Soccer Club as a member of their Senior A squad, and their club’s winter high-performance program where he serves as team captain. While with SJSC, Jonah reached two provincial club finals. A soon-to-be graduate of Saint Malachy’s Memorial High School, Sisco has played for the Saints for JV and Varsity programs, being named MVP for both rosters during his tenure. At six foot one, Sisco will be key for the Blue Devils on set pieces at both ends of the pitch.

“The opportunity to play soccer and go to university at the same time is something I couldn’t pass up,” says Sisco. “Being able to use the Dal facilities for my academics while going to King’s and living in Halifax will be a nice change. It has always been a city I’ve wanted to live in.”

While at King’s, Sisco plans to study in the Bachelor of Science program.
