New Date: Appiah Lecture rescheduled for March 23

Visiting Lecturer Kwame Anthony Appiah will speak at King’s on March 23 at 7pm in Alumni Hall. His lecture, entitled “Sharing with Strangers: Compassion through the Arts and Humanities in an Age of Globalization”, was originally for February 7 but was cancelled due to weather.

appiahfinalmarchAppiah is a Professor of Philosophy and Law at New York University. In 2015, the World Post named him a Global Thought Leader.

The lecture is presented by The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Public Affairs, in partnership with the Segelberg Trust, the School of Public Administration at Dalhousie University, and the University of King’s College.
