The Blue Devils are thrilled to announce the addition of Breagh Powell to the women’s volleyball team. Standing at 6’0, Powell brings an impressive presence as an outside hitter to the Blue Devils lineup.
A native of Fall River, NS, Powell is coming to the Blue Devils from Acadia where she already distinguished herself in both academics and athletics, earning USPORT Academic All-Canadian award in 2022. Prior to her USPORT experience, she played for Lockview High School and Fury and Sonic Volleyball Clubs.
“I am so grateful to be continuing my education and athletic career at a university as welcoming as King’s,” says Powell. “I chose UKC due to its rich academics and the community that they have curated within the classroom and in the gym. The love and support I have received so far from the Blue Devils makes me so excited to join their crew … Go Blue Devils!”
Powell will continue her studies in the Bachelor of Science program with a focus on biology.
