Tragedy in Nova Scotia

Dear Colleagues:

We extend deepest sympathies to all who have been affected by the terrible tragedy which unfolded in our province yesterday.  In solidarity with those whose lives were taken, everyone who loved them, and their communities, the flags in the Quad have been raised so that they can be lowered to half-mast.

During these stressful times, it is important for us to reach out and stay connected to our friends, family and colleagues.  If you need additional support, we encourage you to contact the mental health services which are available to the King’s community. In addition, faculty and staff are encouraged to access the EFAP (Employee and Family Assistance Program).  This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-866-833-7690 or via their website.

Take care,

Bill
