BA (Saint Mary's)

Hi I’m Fisson (she/her) and I’m originally from Ethiopia. I grew up mainly moving about the Middle East. The fun fact I tell people when they ask for one is that I’ve lived in six countries. With all that though I don’t enjoy traveling, maybe one day I will.

I’ve been an RA/Don for the past three years now and I enjoy being there for my students and spending time with them. Apart from being a Don, I also work at Coverdale Justice Society as a Justice Support Worker with previously incarcerated women. I really enjoy working with people.

I did my undergrad in psychology and social justice & community studies, and was blessed enough to find work that I’m passionate about in my field. In my free time I enjoy going on spontaneous adventures, long-boarding and crocheting. My favorite dessert is ice cream, specifically McDonald’s soft serve swirly ones!
