Nicola (she/her) brings experience & baggage to her job managing ukings.ca. Literally. A new-ish transplant to Nova Scotia, Nicola (aka Nicky) moved from Ontario to the east coast with her furniture, dog, husband and a couple of decades worth of knowledge acquired working in the online world. She has been, and is, a writer, editor, website manager, producer/director, and still loves being a content hunter-gatherer. Nicola thrives on building community – connecting people with each other and with new ideas that lead to aha moments of discovery and the magic of synthesis. She is excited to be part of the welcoming community of King’s. Outside of packing and unpacking belongings while she builds a house, she loves writing and reading about food, and eating it.
