Meet King’s Journalism faculty and alumni at CBC Studios in Toronto!
Prospective undergraduate and graduate students are invited to learn what it’s like to pursue journalism at King’s during this special event, December 8. The Director of Journalism, Fred Vallance-Jones, along with professor Brian Daly and audio technician Mark Pineo will answer questions and run video and audio journalism workshops, providing students with a taste of what they could learn at King’s. Alumni will also be present to discuss their path to becoming professional storytellers. Register below to save your spot:
$65 application fee waiver
All currently enrolled Grade 12 students who attend Journalism Day will have a $65 application waiver applied to their September 2026 application. Applicants are encouraged to submit their application after the event. Valid only for BA, BSc, BJ(Hons) and BMus applicants.
Important note: Attendance at the event will be verified before a fee waiver is applied and an admission decision is released. Application fee refunds will not be granted.
