Part-time Instructor–History of Science and Technology

Established in 1789, King’s College is Canada’s oldest chartered university and is associated with Dalhousie University. The History of Science Program (HOST) at the University of King’s College is currently looking for a part-time instructor to teach one of the following courses in the 2025-26 academic year:

Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates may come from various fields but should have at least a Master’s degree in a field related to History of Science and Technology (broadly construed), although a PhD is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate both excellence in teaching at the university level and current expertise in the relevant subject matter. Prior experience teaching at the university level is required.

Pay Rate: $6,478 (per course)

The position is conditional on the courses’ final enrollment numbers, timetabling and program staffing.
