Specific workshops will not be selected until October. Workshop placeholders have been set to ensure your tuition is correct in the fall. Your registration in all required courses will be completed by the King’s Registrar’s Office. Keep an eye on your Dal email for further information as it becomes available. After you have been notified of your registration in courses, be sure to check your Dal Online account, especially before deadlines, to ensure that you are correctly registered.
Please note that you are solely responsible for making any changes to your registration, including course withdrawal. Please see the Fees section of the King’s Academic Calendar for information on Course Changes, Refunds and Withdrawals.
Before you can register you need to activate your university email account. This account is on the Dalhousie server and carries the dal.ca domain name. You are responsible for activating it and checking it regularly, as it is our main form of official university communication.
Note: If you have applied to residence at King’s, you may have already set up your email account.
Congratulations! You have activated your email account.
If you want your email forwarded to another account, go to Mail Management after logging into your email account. Under Email select Email Forwarding. Type in your username and password, then select Mail Forwarding. Enter the email address to which you want the mail forwarded. Click Set Forwarding.
Note: In order to register, you will need an active university email account with your NetID and password as the Dal Online system used to register uses the same login credentials.
When you log on to register for your classes, update your personal information or view your account, the site will be identified as Dalhousie—but you’re in the right place.
