Some of the authors will be familiar to the King’s community, among them Inglis Professor Sylvia D. Hamilton, poet George Elliott Clarke and others. Dal is hosting a month-long series of events to celebrate African Heritage Month—from a flag-raising ceremony on Feb. 3 to their African Heritage Month Flagship Event on Feb. 12. with an opportunity to explore three new art exhibits featuring artists of African descent.
The BCC NS event calendar features province-wide events happening throughout February, including the 2025 African Heritage Month Gala Dinner on Feb. 25.
