Goalkeeper Ainslie Nicholl-Penman is the latest recruit to commit for the UKC Women’s Soccer team, signing on to join the squad in Fall 2022. Nicholl-Penman presently plays for Hamilton United in Ontario’s League 1.
Nicholl-Penman has the tools essentials for a shot stopper: she is brave off her line and gifted with quick reflexes. She is also comfortable with the ball at her feet, allowing her to serve as a release valve for her team, and occupy a key role in starting play out from the back.
Ainslie is the fourth signing landed by Head Coach Gary Carter in this recruiting cycle, joining Hilary Jamieson of Nova Scotia, Kaylee Downey of British Columbia, and fellow Ontarian Norah DeWolfe.
