Zinck joins Men's Soccer midfield

King’s men’s soccer have finalized the signing of local midfielder, Michael Zinck. Hailing from the Terence Bay area just outside of Halifax, Zinck is the latest Nova Scotian addition to Jamie McGinnis’s roster, joining provincial colleagues Liam McCara, Jai Cunsolo Willox, and Grayson Walker. A product of Farias Soccer Academy, Zinck presently plays with the FSA Hotspurs in the Nova Scotia Soccer League.
A centre defensive midfielder, Zinck specializes disrupting opposition possession through the middle and coordinating the attack, serving as a conduit between the back line and attacking players.
“I chose King’s because Jamie [McGinnis] is a great coach and has a vision for this team and I want to be a part of that vision. I am excited to work under Jamie and improve my game any way I can.”
Zinck will study in the Bachelors of Arts program while playing soccer for the Blue Devils.
