Support in December

Don’t forget the coping craft event, Home for the Holidays, hosted by Jordan and Isaac on December 4.

Sometimes the holidays present challenges, whether going home, or not going home. Our stellar student support and academic advising teams are there. Here is a list of resources available through December and over the break, including some coping techniques people can use on their own. King’s campus closes at end of day on December 21.

Here’s what’s happening in residence for the holiday break.

If you’re facing some challenging times in anticipation of the holidays, don’t hesitate to reach out to the student support team. Michelle, Jasmine, Jordan and Isaac are here until Dec. 22.

If you are an Indigenous student and are looking for support before heading home, please reach out to Emily, our Indigenous Support and Outreach Coordinator.

Jennifer, Kirstin and Keenan are your academic advising team. If you need support with degree planning, choosing courses, or if you’re experiencing academic difficulty and aren’t sure what to do, they can help. Book an appointment here. Note that the advisers will be here until end of day on Dec. 20.

There are also external resources and supports available.
