We are excited to welcome graduands of the Class of 2022 and their families to King’s for our 232nd Encaenia. Here are some Covid-19 precautions we are taking to ensure the event is as safe as possible:
- Masks will be required at all Encaenia events (except when eating or drinking and by those who are speaking at the events)
- Vaccination including boosters is both important in reducing transmission and even more important in reducing the risk of serious illness from infection. If you are planning to come to the Encaenia celebrations and you have not yet been vaccinated or not yet received your second dose or booster, you are urged to get that first, second or booster shot if you are able to in the next few weeks.
- We also encourage everyone attending to take at least two rapid screening tests in the days immediately before Encaenia. Please do not attend if you have a positive test result or if you have any Covid symptoms on May 25, 26 and 27, or in the days prior, unless you have two negative rapid Covid test results before attending Encaenia events.
